    Greetings, Casoli !

My name is Renzo Fiorentino and I´m son of Vladimir Fiorentino, one of the great-grandsons of Casimiro Fiorentino of Fiorentino Family in Casoli. Casimiro was the first patriarch of the family in Brazil. He was born in 1864 in Casoli and left Italy with his brother, Domingos Fiorentino (they were 15 and 13 years old). Right now, I´m doing a research about the family by all means possible. As I´ve read before, it seems that Nicola Fiorentino is a teacher and have wrote a book called “ Momenti di storia casolana 1800-1861 “ , published in 2001 in Casoli. I would really appreciate getting in touch with him/her.

I gently request any information you all can give-me about the family. Thanks in advance.

I´ll be very happy to receive any e-mail from you all.

    Best regards,
    Renzo Fiorentino (Campinas-San Paolo-Brasile

    Ah...
ah... I´ve forgot to tell that Casimiro and Domingos were both sons of Gilberto Fiorentino and Clementina Cippola.

So, the family tree line is:

Gilberto Fiorentino (I don´t have any information about him)
    Casimiro Fiorentino (b. 1864, Casoli - Italy)
    Tarquinio Fiorentino (b. 1895, Serra-Negra - Brasile)
    Enzo Fiorentino (b. 1923, Serra-Negra - Brasile)
    Vladimir Fiorentino (b. 1946, Limeira - Brasile)
    Renzo Fiorentino (b. 1982, Campinas - Brasile)

    Grazie,
    Renzo.

    Enzo,
My best to you and all your family.
My grandfather, Pietro Genovese, was in Sao Paulo, Brazil from approximately 1893-1899. He was there with his stepfather Giuseppe Nicola DiSanto. They built a church. According to what I have been told, a priest in Abruzzi raised the money in Italy to build the church. (The Italian immigrants there had no churches).
My grandfather returned to Italy in 1899 and then emigrated here to the US in 1905 (to Philadelphia).
